Rainfall in PH “Are the gods angry?”

What seemed like a normal 15mins rainfall, turned out to be a “hurricane” in disguise with roofs flying off, electrical poles and big trees falling down. Below are pictures of Abacha road, Gra, Port Harcourt after the rain. A popular restaurant and lounge by name- Casablanca, was badly affected by the “hurricane”. Cars parked around the area also got damaged....

This is fast becoming a trend in the city of Port Harcourt as lives and properties have been destroyed/lost by huge trees lately and one cannot help but wonder... “Are the gods angry?” Or is it just nature taking its course.

Nevertheless, I urge all residents to be careful while driving or walking when it is raining. Also avoid parking your cars under or near a tree or electrical pole.
