Corp members exhausted after election rerun in Rivers state

Members of the National Youth Corp Service trying to
get some rest, following the violence in Rivers state.
The photos of some corp members who partook as
registration agents in the weekend Rivers re-run election
marred by violence and irregularities have gone viral
Daily Post reports that they were seen taking refuge and
sleeping in the heat of the controversial violent election.
They were pictured sleeping both on the floor and
benches looking drained.

Sources say that no proper arrangement was made for
the youth corp members.
Meanwhile, the violence which took place in Rivers state
over the weekend reportedly led to the death of a youth
corp member.
The disclosure was made by the Peoples Democratic
Party (PDP) via its official Twitter handle.
It was alleged that the corp member was killed in the
house of an All Progressives Congress (APC) deputy
governorship candidate, Asita O. Asita.
The corp members were pictured sleeping
indiscriminately, following the rigors of the rivers
election rerun.
