FG declares public holidays for Good Friday and Easter

Federal government declares Friday, March 25 and
Monday, March 28, as public holidays
– This is to mark the Good Friday and Easter
celebrations
Interior Minister Abdulraman Dambazau
Friday, March 25 and Monday, March 28, has been
declared as public holidays by the federal government to
mark the Good Friday and Easter celebrations.
Abdulrahman Dambazau, the minister of interior, made
the announcement in a statement issued by the acting
Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Alhaji
Muhammadu Maccido on Tuesday, March 22, in Abuja.

The minister also used this medium to urge Christian
faithful and Nigerians to join hands with President
Muhammadu Buhari in his efforts to build a peaceful
and united and nation.
He further urged Nigerians to use the occasion to pray
for peace and unity across the country.
